1. Apply to JJC
You must complete the JJC admissions process in order for our office to complete the financial aid process. Learn more about applying at admissions.
2. Apply for Financial Aid: FAFSA
Complete the 2013-2014 Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) online or renewal FAFSA (for students who have applied in previous year) at www.fafsa.gov as soon as possible. 2012 financial information is required to fill out FAFSA (W2s, Federal 1040s).
Applying is easier with the IRS Data Retrieval Tool.
Students and parents who have completed their 2012 IRS tax return will be able to use FAFSA on the Web to electronically view their tax information. With just a few simple steps, the tax information can also be securely transferred into the FAFSA.
When you apply for your FAFSA you will be prompted to apply for a pin, and it will be assigned to you immediately. Be sure to keep this for your records, as you will need this every year you apply for FAFSA. JJC's Federal (Title IV) School Code: 001699.
Please visit https://fafsa.ed.gov/help.htm for additional FAFSA information.
