Joliet Junior College, along with partner organizations, will sponsor the 8th Annual Grundy County Regional Job Fair on Wednesday, Aug. 8 from 3 to 6 p.m. at Saratoga School, 4040 N. Division St. in Morris.
The fair is free and open to the public. Job seekers will have the opportunity to apply and speak with employers from the Grundy County area. A resume as well as professional dress attire is required to enter the fair. Attendees should also be prepared for on-the-spot interviews.
The event will host numerous employers including: Chiro One Wellness Centers, Costco Wholesale, Walnut Grove Village Nursing Facility, PetSmart Distribution Center, Morris Hospital & Healthcare Centers, Park Pointe Morris Senior Living and
Morris Healthcare & Rehabilitation, and Addus Healthcare.
Griselda Martinez, JJC Workforce Services office manager, said 25-30 employers are projected to attend the event. A list of participating employers will be available on the Grundy Workforce website.
To help prepare job seekers for the fair, JJC’s Workforce Development and Grundy Workforce Services is offering a “Job Fair Kickoff” event on Wednesday, Aug. 1 at 1 p.m. at JJC’s Morris Education Center, 1715 N. Division Street in Morris.
